By all means, vote at the court house today if you can. I just came from there. You'll spend about 15 or 20 minutes in line, maybe less. I was number 472 among the early voters.

As of 1:30 p.m. the streets downtown were still clear, as was the parking lot at city hall.

I am thinking the vote will be close. With more emphasis on planning than promotion it should pass easily. I hope if it does not pass they will come back with a solid plan that can.... our kids do deserve better than the status quo.

I heard a bit on the radio yesterday on a corridor AM station about their millage for schools & found it interesting the top reason they gave for improved property values was a new school. Since Grassy Knob & Holiday Island are the main reasons our property values are considered high in relation to other districts in Arkansas, I predict most yes votes will come from those areas. Also there are numerous retired educators, another "yes" factor. The margin might be closer than what this poll shows.

Isn't it peculiar the margin was nearly opposite the results of this poll? Guess it shows to go you, Geekfesters have varying opinions from the masses who voted in the flesh.
