So far, he hasn't been found. My other 2 boys are very depressed, and so is the entire family.

I really hope someone has him and once the weather clears up, they will come into town.

We're not trying to loose hope, but it's hard.

We're following up every lead we get, and I'm going to try to get an ad in the Citizen with his picture, not just in the classifieds. Maybe that will make the difference.

Mycroft, where ever you are, I hope you are warm and safe, but you are very missed and loved.

I saw a dog matching this description about an hour ago right by Fockers. He had a red collar on and was running west on 62. I was going to try and get him, but he was quite fast. I don't know if it is him, but I thought I would just let you know. Maybe the red collar will help someone find their dog.

Unfortunately, our lab doesn't have a collar. But thanks for posting.

I do not want to create heart break over and over, but it is possible, if Mycoft was picked up by someone, esp if they say him running a few days alone, they may have thought he was a stray, because of no collar and/or the condition in might have been in running a few days, and perhaps put a collar on him, of course not knowing his situation of allergies.
If he gets a chance to get away again, he may be wearing a collar now, and no telling how far he could get, esp if someone picked him up and moved him some where and who knows where he really is...I would check out all yellow labs, no matter where in the area, as i know you are probably doing anyway.

I still hold hope, as i have seen and heard of dogs being gone weeks and reunited with families, i feel your fear and heartbreak and send as much strength as i can, for his home coming to you all.

A lot of ifs, but one never knows for sure. I put collars on all the strays i found, 1st thing, easier to handle a bigger dog in and out of the kennel, or around the house and yard.
