Default Adopting a dog- needing a dog kennel

We are in the process of working toward the adoption of a long-term shelter dog (2.5 years at the shelter) we hope to bring home toward the end of the month. We are looking for inexpensive large outdoor kennel with gate to help facilitate his transition into our home for when I'm at work. Don't have a lot of money, and even willing to rent it and return it? Thanks in advance for any help.

Wish I could help you out but in spite of my proclamation of not rescuing any more, I have two females here looking for homes, one with five babies, all ready for adoption, hint, hint.....But I sure applaud you for getting a long time dog out of the shelter!

I just disassembled a permanent kennel at our place. There is some lumber and a lot of sturdy chain link left from that demolition. If you know someone handy and you can come get it and load it, you are welcome to it. No charge; I’ll be satisfied to have it out of the way. It was about 10’ x 15’ double-sided kennel. You can call or text me at 479.244.5649; that goes for anyone else too!
