    Default I'm retiring from woodworking

I've been building things from wood since I was 5, but professionally only for the last 35 years. It's finally time to pull the plug. I'm keeping the little stuff, but all the big things are listed on Geekfest Classifieds and in more detail on the Fayetteville Craig's List. I live in Low Gap near Jasper maybe 1 1/2 hours from Eureka. Call with questions. 870-861-5059. Ron

Congratulations on Retirement! I know it's probably a mixed blessing, but hope it's a perfect time for you. Knock yourself out and celebrate!!!

What are your plans? I do know your work is excellent and gave you a sense of purpose along with an active mind, growing, cooking, processing foods, reading and more. I may have answered my own question but I do know working the wood has been a meaningful part of your life. I guess crafting one magnificent personal rocker and whittling detailed masterpieces is a possibility. Whatever you choose to do with your time, I wish you well.

So now what will you do since you have given up woodworking? I have always looked forward to the things you share here.

    Bravo!
That's a much better fit than taking over the AMA (American Motorcycle Association).
    ;-)

Seriously, I hope you enjoy this next chapter of your life.

Have you considered donating some of your equipment to the Eureka Springs School of the Arts? I'm sure they would be happy to work with you.
