    Checked the hives today and one is gone..Lots of dead bees no Honey..They might of swarmed....Ordered another nuc for this spring..The other two are doing fine...Been feeding them for this winter. Don't know what happened to the one hive...Found a mix of 1 1/2 # crisco, 1# honey, 2 Oz winter green oil mix put on back of frames they are working on

    I've heard from several beekeepers who've said they've lost a hive. All they can guess is that it swarmed. Where do you get your new nuc?
