Jeff lives in Arizona now. Is that where the Town Hall was held?

Jeff is having a very good day. I am so proud of him. He gracefully and forcefully spoke truth to power.

After knowing him for eons, I was afraid to believe what I was seeing... He was his usual, solid self too; stood up for what he believed in...FIRMLY!!!

I am one of those people who has had good health insurance through my employer for most of my adult life. It has never been a worry for me. Since the ACA was passed my premiums have gone up - sometimes the percentages sounded like a lot - but even in the worst year by paying pre-tax my net difference in take home pay was maybe $30-40 a month. When I see a story like Jeff's - or like my cousin who had a brain tumor that was discovered when she was 25 and would have been no longer covered by her parents coverage, I know that my extra pitiful expense is more than worth it - it would be a bargain 10 times over. Friends, neighbors, and even family alive and not bankrupt and all it cost me was about a Diet Pepsi a day. Thanks Obama

Premiums went up $32 average 2007-2011 and $21 from 2012-2016. Our health care costs have gone up every year of our lives along with insurance. The growth of the costs has actually slowed during ACA. Atta boy, Jeff.
